HONEYMOON TRAVEL
One of the most important decisions you will have to make before you get married is "Where in the world do we want to go on our Honeymoon?"and How much will it cost us? Will it be a cruise (and to where?) , or maybe a trip to Tahoe, Las Vegas, the Poconos, Niagra Falls, Europe, or Mexico? Maybe a week at a Club Med or Sandals or Breezes in the Caribbean or Mexico? To help you make these decisions you need a good travel agent that will work with you all the way.
This is where DJ Phred comes in. As a homebased travel agent with All Travel and Cruise Center, Inc. I can help you book your honeymoon to wherever you want to go. Thinking of Hawaii? I am a Hawai'i Destination Specialist. How about Mexico? Mexico is one of my very favorite countries to vacation in. I can give you lots of good tips on Mexico travel; see below for some of them.
Cruising is more your thing? I absolutely love cruising myself. Justine and I just returned, 6/2/07, from a wonderful Carnival cruise to Mexico. We stopped in Cabo San Lucas, La Paz (a terrific little town on the Sea of Cortez) and Ensenada. In the past we have cruised the Panama Canal, Caribbean, and Alaska; all great places to cruise to. When you are on a cruise you can see several different ports and only unpack once. Plus almost everything onboard is included in the price of the cruise except alcohol, soft drinks and incidentals. I am a member of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and have a Commodore rating with Princess Cruises and a "Carnival Cruise Specialist" designation with Carnival Cruise Lines. Check out my travel site at www.cruisingspecialist.4mydeals.com and then call me at 916-201-7618 and let's talk about your Honeymoon or email me at cruisingspecialist@yahoo.com.

Tips on Mexico Travel
1. Don't drink the water -- actually that is an outdated warning -- almost anywhere you go in Mexico that is a tourist spot will have purified water in the tap and you can feel fairly safe drinking it. Of course to really be on the safe side drink bottled water. I have been in Mexico many times, it is my favorite place to vacation, and never had a problem with the water. Now, if you go off the beaten path then you want to make sure you boil the water or drink bottled water.
2. Of the 3 main tourist stops on the West Coast of Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta I find that the best deals are in Mazatlan. Cabo San Lucas is a very expensive area, it has really grown up in the past 15 years and the prices for food, lodging, golf, jewelry, etc. are definitely indicative of the growth of the tourism industry.
3. Barter, Barter, Barter -- When you are out shopping make sure you barter. Don't just plunk down $60 or $70 for a piece of jewerly; it can most likely be had for $20 to $30 or maybe less depending on how good you are and how much time you want to spend bartering. The main thing is to have fun and don't get attached to an article until you get the price you want. Be willing to walk away and they will come after you and you can eventually get your price. You may have to say "no" many times but don't give in! Once again, Mazatlan is the best place that I have found for bartering and really getting some good deals.
4. If you are on a cruise; most of the time you can get a better price on shore excursions like snorkeling, glass bottom boats, fishing, etc if you get off the ship and stop at one of the vendors on the dock or book them online before you leave for your cruise or have your travel agent book them for you.
